Eclipse chasers Fred Espenak and Patricia Totten have captured the beauty of totality in a custom T-shirt commemorating the Total Solar Eclipse of February 1998.Espenak's image is a composite from twenty separate photographs shot with two telescopes. They have been processed and combined in Adobe Photoshop(tm) to closely resemble the naked eye appearance of the solar corona.The image was featured in Sky & Telescope's Gallery section (June 1998, page 126) and is also available as a Deluxe Color Print.Pat Totten's inspirational words of her experience will ring true with all who have witnessed totality and who dream of seeing it again.
These quality T-shirts are a heavy weight 50-50 cotton/poly blend designed not to shrink when washed in cold water. The custom design on front and back is transferred to the shirt via uniqie process and will last many washings. The T-shirt is white with royal blue lettering.Sizes available are small, medium, large and x-large. However, other sizes are available by special order.
